Our licensed guide will lead you on a walk through historical sites that have been the inspiration to some of the most famous operas: … Fidelio, Carmen, El barbero de Sevilla, Don Giovanni…

The tour begins at Castillo de San Jorge (Saint George’s Castle) former Inquisition’s headquarters in Seville and the location of the opera Fidelio.

Crossing Triana Bridge  our licensed guide will be commenting on  Verdi’s“La Forza del Destino”.

On our walk along the riverbank, the statue of Carmen, the cigarrera (the cigarette roller), stands opposite the Plaza de Toros.

Not far from there Charity Hospital’s and Miguel de Mañara,character associated with the myth of  Don Juan.

Once in the heart of the city, your next stop will be the site where Rossini placed  Figaro´s house.  

And just a little further ahead lie the very quaint and winding alleys of the Santa Cruz Quarter , where the characters of these operas were prey to love and misfortune.

Last but not least, our licensed guide will finish this fantastic walk at the Real Fábrica de Tabacos (the Old Tobacco Factory), the setting for  Carmen, one of today’s most acclaimed operas.
