Your licensed guide will begin the tour by the Giralda Tower, that neighbours the old quarters of Santa Cruz and San Bartolomé. This area was ​once inhabited by Jews, one of the three coexisting cultures that played a ​vital role in the ​city’ splendour. ​

To stroll through these labyrinthic alleyways and evoking streets is to hear the echoes of stories and legends by the ancient aljama wall which encircled the old Moorish and Jewish quarters.

The fall in​to disgrace of the Jews in Spain brought about the conversion or exile of this relevant community.

Learn where the gates and the synagogues were located and what lies behind ​the Palacio de Altamira, Santa Cruz Square and the churches of Santa María la Blanca and San Bartolomé,
